unsettled pieces 是變動不明、是缺乏秩序、是心緒不寧、是無處安放卻也已經打撈成冊的片刻。
　　
這件作品封存了一段時間中破碎的感知與記憶，透過回看影像，梳理了一段混亂的變動。刻意選取在拍攝當下並不是「影像主角」的角落，我想知道那些在我專注力之外的時間都去了哪裡？而那些在我專注力之內的記憶又留下了什麼？
　　
像一位標本採集者，我在時間的軸上、在意識和感知抽離轉移的路徑上，尋找那些掉落的時間，以及還能拾起的片刻。

𝑼𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒊𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔 is a mixed media work that archives the fragmentation of memories and the perception of chaos during a period of change in my life. The work consists of the assemblages of cropped photo images, shredded paper strips, and a mason jar with cursive handwriting.

2022 has been a hectic and chaotic year for me. The photos in this piece recollect the transitory aspects of the year that I lost track of.

Looking back at and revisiting the images I took during that time, I intentionally selected the photos that I didn‘t pay much attention to while I was shooting them at that moment. The corners of the photos, thus, are transformed into metaphors that reflect the moments of my corporeal self as not ”being there.“

Throughout the process of creating the piece, I see myself as a specimen collector who constantly goes back and forth through multiple dimensions of a timeline. I am collecting the missing hours and instants in my life while exploring the path that transforms my mind and consciousness.
